Best price backpack leaf blower, gas backpack leaf blower under $400

Hi guys. I thought I’d do a quick look at a new backpack leaf blower. It is the Makita eb-5 300 th four-stroke Makita leaf blower. I haven’t seen any video reviews or even videos on this particular model. There are someone it’s bigger brother. But this one we got a couple of weeks ago and loving it so far.

Previously we’ve been using the Husqvarna handheld blower which is superb. But it’s coming into the autumn season. Now leaves it’s time to fall. And we just wanted something that had that bin walk in front. And this certainly does.

So this is a 52 point 5 cc engine with a max air velocity of 82 meters per second and max air volume of 50 meters cubed. It comes in just eight point nine kilograms. And we got it for under 300 pounds. I think what you get is superb. Because if you want those sort of stats from a big brand like Stihl or Husqvarna you’d be talking minimum four hundred pounds. There they’re engineered everyone’s doesn’t compare to this one at all. And so we thought we would take a pun and I go for it. I mean if it was a power-tool eye angle grinder or something. I was wouldn’t hesitate with the brand Makita. But being a garden tool had my reservations but it’s proved to be well worth getting so far.

Let’s have a quick look. It’s very easy to start. Just prime it a few times there choke comes off and then there’s a just put that into the start position. Put it and then after a couple of pulls anyway you go. It’s got fairly standard cruise control and down just fix the bottle velocity. I just turned it around.

You can see the back of it. And as you can see these nice thickly padded straps go all the way down. I’ve got these adjustments here which pull it close to your back helps with the load. And again you’ve got a nice padded bottom strap which is a clip. So that takes the weight on your hips opposed to taking it all on your shoulders which is a nice little feature. I know the Stihl ones they’re famous for having rubbish straps. These ones are so much nicer. It’s got a fairly standard anti-vibration system on there with this springs. So the engine is separate from the backplate but again that works really nicely. You hardly know you’ve got it on, best price backpack leaf blower.

A standard sort of flexible tube. I was comparing this with steel. This tube the diameter is quite a bit bigger than the steel one is. I think it’s comparatively the same power. But this one just seems to because of the bigger tube it doesn’t narrow there’s an attachment to go onto that you’ve got a flat tube or a round tube. But because of that bigger tube, it just seems to pump out so much more air. So that you just able to move so much more leaves.

You know a lot of them they just go for top speed. Air velocity which is great, but at the same time you need to pump out a lot of air to get move those leaves. Well so there you go the Makita eb-5 300 th four-stroke. Oh yeah, fine the final point it is a four-stroke engine. So it doesn’t take two-stroke oil. It just takes standard fuel like your mower fuel. As I say I’ve only had it for a few a couple of weeks. So I can’t comment on reliability or fuel efficiency as such. But the website does claim that it’s more fuel efficient and meets various regulations on emissions and things. So that’s something to were thinking about.

If you are looking for a blower but I really think you’re looking for a blower for under $300 don’t look any further. This is this is the one to go for all right.
