We’re here today with the new Galaxy Marlin 438. Great kayak. We’ve just been tryin’ out in the water. Incredibly fast kayak, very fast. Amazing. I mean a few things we like about this kayak.

The kayaks are mainly used for traveling or for adventuring into wavy steam. But nowadays those are being used for fishing and also storing them in a sink for a temporary time. The LIFETIME has launched a new type of features full kayak that should be well rated by the buyers or consumers. The longevity of the kayak is depended on the polymer qualities and also on its layer of polymers. This kayak is made of high-density polymer which is not only water resistant but also has proper stretch-ability properties. Most of the kayak has a single seat and also that is not adjustable. But this kayak has two seats and also those are being adjustable with user’s direction. The seat pads can be extended and also rolled back with the comfort of users. The seat can be adjusted so that the riders can easily hold the two top mounted fishing rods with the holders. There are front and rear shock cord straps; those are so much helpful for the users. The fishing rod holders are flush and top mounted. For these one can do fishing with comfort sitting. The angular displacement of the rod is 6 degree with the holders. It is being designed for unique designs and also for easiness of rider of fishing and riding simultaneously. The top-mounted holders connect the fishing rod for holding purposes and also if the paddle is attached it makes the displacement of the paddles for accelerations. The paddles are used to forward the kayak seat whether it is straight or curved. If there are any serious needs for being straight, the push paddle helps to uplift the seat.
The kayak needs compressed air into being shaped. But no air compressor is given to this product. The buyer must purchase it separately. Only two holders are present in the kayak. So the paddles and the fishing rods cannot be connected together with the mounted holders.
For me, one of my favorite things I like about it is that these ones come with a sort of optional high seat. Really comfortable seats. It’s got the nice three straps that you can strap it in on either side. Easy to take out. It also comes with an optional low seat, which is fantastic. It gives you the option to have the high or the low seat. Of course the high seat, I think is more comfortable for those long journeys, but it’s less stable for the rough. Yeah the best is when the water is flat. You can use the high seat, but when there is many waves the best thing is go to the lower seat. This one hugs you, you’re low down. Your center of gravity is lower. You can paddle hard. You have more stability basically when you’re lower down. Definitely. For long, calm, peaceful days fishing with your buddies, that’s a great seat. It’s really comfortable. Really enjoy it. So I think that the feature I really like about it this kayak is that for sure. The kayaks are well-known as the portable airboat for touring in river and sea. Moreover, those are being used for fishing and also storing those for a temporary time. The SUNDOLPHIN has released a new type of excursion kayak for fishing lovers. The kayak is made to follow the aerodynamic structure for gaining a high speed in water. Not only have these, but also this kayak have a sport deign that attracts the kayak lovers easily. This kayak is ideal for fishing for a day for one user. The high-quality PVC made kayak has easy portability. So that one folds it and place it at the corner of seat while traveling. This model has a front rod holder at the point of acceleration of the kayak. That is an additional feature for the users.
No separated air compressor is attached to the kayak. So why the buyer must purchase it separately for further uses. No side holder is available for this model. So, side rod cannot be attached without the paddles.
It comes with other great features as well, like the essential hatch. Yeah for me it’s one of the parts I love about this kayak, because under the center hatch you can install your sonar here and then if you want you can put it back. Store it underneath. The best part on the Kayak as well is we’ve got a hole here in the front is where the transducer goes, under the kayak. We can put our transducer under the kayak and will be all the time touching the water. So it’s good for the temperature, which is something important for us, the fishermen. Great and it comes in as well through here right, and you can put it all, and attach your fish finder up here or there, right ? Normally we put it here. But the best thing is we’ve got the copper inserts and we can put a RAILBLAZA StarPort HD and then you put a camera boom 150 or 160. Great. And then you can put. Really, practical. You can store stuff underneath here. It’s fantastic, big big hatch inside. Obviously the copper inserts are all over the kayak like all of our models, for the flags in the back, camera booms in the front, We got for more rod holders wherever you want them, RAILBLAZA, you can deck it out however you want. Fantastic two features. The Kayak is a portable boat that is used for traveling in the sea or in high waves for adventures and also traveling in river normally. Sometimes for the extra weight of users and also for stone in hill steam the under polymer of the kayak becomes loose and it feels so uncomfortable to the rider. No compressed air cylinder is included with the model. So if the air is leaked out continuously, the user must buy the air compressor separately.
Obviously what I really like about this kayak is it’s fast as well. It’s got a great rocker in the front. It’s really sleek design. It’s one of our fastest kayaks by far. And it’s definitely our highest range fishing kayak. It comes with all the extras you need for any sort of fishing out on the water. I just bought a used tandem mirage drive kayak from letgo for me and my 15 yr old son. Neither one of us has ever used a kayak before. Any tips would be great, especially what to vfc wear? Not sure if you get wet or not, so should we wear chest waders, wetsuits, or regular clothes?
Don’t wear chest waders they can fill with water you cant swim and you’ll probably drown
Wetsuit, waders + drytop, or most people’s preference: a full dry suit…is needed from now until next Spring.
I would use the winter months to gather all the necessary fishing/safety gear…and start your kayaking adventures when the weather is warmer. You’ll catch more fish, be more comfortable, and most importantly be safer and more prepared on the water.
After a great summer kayak fishing from my trusty single SOT, I am looking at getting a tandem/double kayak for next summer.
Ideally I am looking for a 2+1 type SOT which can take 2 adults + a small child.
The Malibu xl 2+1 seems to be an option, some models seem to have a centre hatch, not sure whether this would hold the weight of a child thou, does anyone have any other recommendations?
Ocean kayak cabo, there’s one on Trademe for $950. It’s what I use, there are 3 seats, should be plenty of load capacity (250kg) and I’ve fitted some extra rudder pedals fit me to paddle from the centre seat by myself. If you do a search on the forum, you should be able to find it on here. Whatever one you choose you are likely to need to be a bit creative with your storage/rigging options for fishing as they typically don’t have dedicated space like the reload/prowler etc.
It is awesome that you mentioned the importance of choosing the right kayak for the right waters. I can see that doing this can help you avoid accidents and make sure you have a blast. Personally, I believe that taking some time before your trip can help you choose the best gear and learn a little about the place where you will be and their rules there.
