Sometimes drifting may be annoying especially if you have found a good spot for fishing. Anchors will solve this problem. The board is not heavy even with a human on it. So a small anchor will be appropriate.
It is my first board, and it replaced my SOT kayak. The quality is higher compared to my board, and I used mine for fishing on ponds, and lakes. I would recommend the electrical pump because it works better than a hand pump. And due to the electrical pump you will save your time. A stability is awesome. It easily holds my fiancé, Spaniel and myself, as well as a cooler. It is good against slow current. I am really lack of harness but I always take a waterproof backpack. The board is not heavy and works great. Once I noticed a guy on NRS iSUP, and he was fast including a great weight (he was with dog, cooler, and fly rod). But his board is very expensive, so I’m really fine with it. As I am not a professional, this board is what I need. It works well for me. This platform is really stable for fishing. A manufacturer should add more tie-down points. I got it for my boyfriend, and he is very excited! Due to the good width (36 inch), balancing is simple. There is enough space on it, and we are going to try fishing from it. Also, it came with a backpack, it has wheels! It helps to easily move it from one place to another one when rolled up. In general, it is a great product! We also adjusted the rod holders for our fly rods. This one is perfect for the entire family! This paddle includes everything. I have a big family, and so I needed iSUP that could be used by everyone. And this one was a great option! My son likes the fishing mounts, and he did not have any problems with them. He caught fish, and wants to use this board again. I can use it with my daughters. We are able to use it at the same time without falling from it. So I can definitely say that this board is huge, stable, and simple! We bought 2 Blu Fin boards, and we just have positive impressions about it. We used them in lakes, and river so far. And its two options were also applied: kayak and standup. The husband went even fishing trout! The client service is high. As I contacted them twice, Lisa was very kind and attentive! The responds are fast, and I got all information I needed. I highly recommend it! We also had some bad experience. The only thing we didn’t like was that labels on the pumps were melting in the heat, and we had all hands and our bags got dirty. But we used duct tape. In general, the boards are great, and we have much fun with them! The idea to take them in the car and blow them up whenever we need is amazing! I distinguished this board because: The paddle board is durable and heavy. I am planning to get a lighter board some day. It has a good pump. But it does not read the pressure well, when you finish the inflation, and it reads it well and the pressure may be felt. But I think that a DC car pump would be great. I want to buy one. There is one for $160. When I inflated the board, I left it for night to make sure that it was not damaged, and the next day it was still hard. The only thing I didn’t like during inflating was the deck that came off. Also when I stopped pumping, the psi gauge dropped. But the board did not lose any air. So I thought it was ok. In general, I like my purchase and I am excited to try it on the water. It is my second iSUP for visitors and family. I looked for a very stable board for beginners, and this product surpassed my expectations. The inflatable rails provide a stability for the board, and I have never seen such stable board ever. These rails are raised above the board, so that if you incline to one side, it will support you, and it just pushes back to water and keeps the upright position. Genius! It also supports the board when you put it down because it lays on these rails. So no one will fall into the water. It may be even better than a boat. I have friends who are mature, at the age of over 60, and they forgot about all fun things until they tried the paddle. So now they also have them because it is very comfortable and convenient. This board is heavier than mine, and it better glides. You are more stable on this board and does not take your efforts. It will be my favorite board when the second one is not needed. I looked through lots of iSUPs on the internet, and I found Peak 11’ Expedition. I needed a long board for better stability because I was going to go fishing. Also, I can take one more person. So this board met my needs compared to cheaper versions. The package was good and consisted of three boxes. A quality of the carrying bag was awesome! The shoulder straps and hip are comfortable and also padded. The bag has just one huge pocket. Separate pockets would be more convenient to store some things like pump, and spare parts. It is not a big deal but I should organize it.
